This camp for 2010 birth year girls is a “joint venture” with the Northern Plains, Pacific, and Rocky Mountain Districts, which have partnered for years on a Boys-14 camp.  This Girls-14 joint camp has been held before, but not since pre-Covid for various reasons. However, given the success of the boys camp and continued growth of girls hockey numbers in the 3 Districts and USA Hockey, it just made sense for us to collaborate again and host the girls camp this year.  Some important elements of this camp are listed below.

  • The camp will be held at the American First Center at 222 S Water St. in Henderson, NV 89015 on 6/27-30

  • Camp will include a goalie session, 3 games & 3 practices for each player, all focused on player development
  • Camp will include a total of 8 teams of 17 players each (9F-6D-2G) from across the 3 Districts of USA Hockey
  • Each team will include a head coach from a Tier I program and a Div-I/III athlete as an asst. coach at a minimum
  • Planned player/parent meeting(s) will include speakers on training, nutrition, mental health, future opportunities, etc.
  • Future opportunities to include pathways to camps, officiating, teams, etc. with a Q&A session for the parents
  • Players should arrive at the rink by 4pm PDT Thu 6/27 (goalies by 3pm) and the camp will conclude by 2pm Sun 6/30
