skip navigationIn a first for the organization, the New Mexico Ice Wolves hockey team hosted a School Day Matinee game for students across the metro area on Friday.
A mix of high school and elementary school students packed the stands at the Outpost Ice Arenas to watch the North American 3 Hockey League team take on its Southern Division rival, the El Paso Rhinos.
For many of the students in attendance, it was the first hockey game they had ever seen live.
